YOUNG ENERGY LEADERS 2027
(YEL’27)

The World Energy Council (WEC) is one of the most inclusive and widely recognised global energy organisations accredited by the United Nations. Its primary mission is to bring together knowledge, experience and dialogue on a global scale to build a better energy future for all.

The World Energy Council Türkiye National Committee serves as the official representative of the Council in Türkiye. Through the Young Energy Leaders Programme, the Committee aims to involve young professionals in its work, help them develop their leadership skills and knowledge of the energy sector, and connect them with the Council’s national and global network.

The Young Energy Leaders (YEL) Programme, initiated by the World Energy Council Türkiye National Committee, is a dynamic platform that brings together young professionals who aim to shape the future of the energy sector. 2027 marks the year of the World Energy Congress in Riyadh and of preparations for World Energy Impact 2028, which WEC Türkiye will host in İstanbul.
